Electronic Enclosures For Police Force

Most people will have seen potential suspects being interviewed by the police in popular police dramas on the television. But how many of us realise exactly what lies behind the equipment used for recording interviews at local police stations. One Rittal customer based in the South of England explained the system they have produced, which is housed in a Rittal three-part EL electronic enclosure. Installed in the three part enclosure is an integral triple desk audio recorder with two CD drives at each level that permits a cascade function when discs are full. The unit has single function controls for ‘record – stop – reject’ and can record audio or video or both together. The audio function has a lapsed time indicator and a 4” colour LCD monitor.
