Rapid returns for smart electricians
Darryl Mattocks, Managing Director of Simply Automate urges electricians to take advantage of the rapid growth that is predicted in the smart control sector, over the next three years. "Home automation is an exciting new business opportunity for electricians and the NICEIC predicts that smart home technology is set to become a growth market for electrical contractors. At Simply Automate, we have seen particularly strong growth in the professional sector, where we have been encouraging the use of these systems for the past two or three years. The results are now very encouraging. The market realises that the technology is very easy to use and doesn¹t cost the earth. To put this into some kind of context, we are seeing an increase in turnover of around 60-70% since last year.
